The best way to get new Scouts is to "Show The Fun!"

Learn how to make a great looking video, using your own photos and video, in just a few easy steps!

The workshop will be taught by a Al Garcia, a professional Commercial Photographer, former Cubmaster and current Scoutmaster. But, you don't need to be a professional photographer or have
a fancy camera to participate.

This will be a hands-on workshop and you will learn how to make a great video using FREE software!

What you need to bring:

  • Digital still photographs and video images of your scouts in action on CD, DVD, stick/thumb drive, portable hard drive
  • Laptop (with one of the below programs pre-loaded)
    • Windows 7 or 8 (Free video software may already be loaded on your  computer: Windows Live Movie Maker. If not please download prior to class)
    • Windows 10 (You may have to download Windows Essentials 2012, which is currently free)
      * Check out YouTube for tutorials on how to download these programs.

NOTE: If you don't have a laptop we will have a limited number of desktop workstations for you to share, but you must bring a stick drive or portable hard drive that has enough capacity to download your project at the end of the session (DVD/CD will not work).

Register today and “Be Prepared” for  Spring & Fall Recruitment by learning how to make an amazing  video for your unit now.
